My name is Kathy Searle and I am a professional actor living in Manhattan, New York City.
I started acting at the age of twelve and have worked on a variety of projects throughout the the past three decades!
Teaching
I regularly teach acting, voiceover, and improv to all ages and levels.
I have been teaching for 15 years and LOVE it!
I am passionate about helping artists grow, both creatively and professionally. I believe the best teaching isn't about changing who an artist is - it's about helping them uncover what makes them unique and giving them the tools and confidence to let them shine.
I create a supportive, honest, and encouraging environment where artists can take risks, strengthen their craft, and become the most authentic version of themselves. Voice acting can help you become more confident and help YOU find your own voice.
Improv can help with social skills, get you out of your head, and help you be your best self.
Teaching info:
Private Zoom 1-hour session $175 an hour
$150 for 45 minutes
In-person: $200 an hour
Classes:
We'll work on both cold reads and prepared materials I will provide each week.
Exercises include vocal techniques and breath work to keep the voice healthy.
Learn character development for animation and video games.
Audition prep
Commercial Voiceover and promo reads
Creating/ Writing your own commercial copy
On-camera performance
Each student will leave my class industry-ready!!
Whether you want to do this full-time as a career or as a hobby, you'll leave the class with tips, tricks, and tools.
